3. Small Hours – Hatch – Non-alcoholic Beverage
Brand Identity 2025
Brand Identity, Non Alcoholic Beverage, Marketing
The Small Hours apéritif is made for a drinking culture that values experience, atmosphere, and connection. Made in collaboration with Illustrator Sophie Aicken, it is designed for Gen Z’s shift toward intentional, experience-led socialising, fitting seamlessly into restaurants, speakeasies, or nights in.
Whether spacing drinks, avoiding hangovers, or seeking a considered alternative, Small Hours enhances the experience. The brand channels bold '90s serifs and early 2000s visuals, dim bars, grainy film, and lo-fi house drifting under conversation. Confident, minimal, and nostalgic without excess.
4. Torn Truth – D&AD – Social Media Campaign
Typography, Social Media Campaign, Animation, Politics
The #TornTruth campaign confronts the role of typography in controlling narratives around Palestine. Through bold, unfiltered type, it challenges censorship, media bias, and the erasure of Palestinian voices. Produced through analogue means, the animation is a stop-motion of risographed transcriptions and images photographed at a high resolution.
In this podcast clip, Ilan Pappé unpacks the logic of elimination at the heart of settler colonialism in Palestine, echoing Patrick Wolfe’s enduring thesis.
